Design Team Intern

JOB PURPOSE:
Assist Marketing Manager with day to day design and photographic requirements:

*Content Creation (IG and Facebook), on the Character Group and Rocketkids social media platforms.
*Assistance with Catalogue design as required.
*Digital Content creation: Web/ Mobile banners.
*Assistance with Photoshoots (see below for more detail).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Content Design.
*Websites: Banners.
*Social Media Platforms: Reels, Videos, Standard posts, and Stories.
*Updating of website content as required.
*Checking Products have descriptions and correct Product information.
*Assisting with Monthly updates of digital content across all platforms.
*Submission of banners to retail partners and internal.
*Photo editing.
*Imagery from In-house and external Photoshoots.
*Website imagery as required.
*Photography.
*Pre- photoshoot preparation.
*Acquiring Samples/ props in advance for the shoot dates.
*Assistant with any requirements that may arise (Lunch, additional props, styling of products).
*Ensuring the models have the correct wardrobe and accessories as per the Photographer’s brief sheet.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
*Graphic design experience (minimum 1 year).
*Website WordPress knowledge – would be advantageous.
*Creativity.
*Attention to detail.
*Computer literacy: Photoshop, Illustrator, and basic Microsoft Word/ Powerpoint.
*Basics of Social media: Have an understanding of Social Media platforms.
*Own Transport is essential (offices based in Dunkeld – Johannesburg).
