DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS
1. A valid Code 14 License (EC) which must be at least TWO years old.
2. If your Code 14 License (EC) in only ONE year old, it can be accepted along with a Code 10
License which is at least TWO years old.
3. You must have a minimum of TWO years’ experience working as a driver. Anything less will render
you unqualified.
4. You must be between 25 – 65 years of age and in good health.
5. You must have a valid PDP which may not expire for at least 6 months after your application date,
unless you have already applied for a new one (proof must be supplied)
6. You must be able to produce your ID and Driver’s License as well as your Passport, if you have
one.
ZIMBABWE CITIZENS
1. You must have a Zim-class 2 for minimum of FOUR years.
2. You must have a minimum of FOUR years long distance driving experience in South Africa. Any
less is UNACCEPTABLE.
3. You must have a valid Traffic Register, Defensive and an International work permit.
4. Your work permit and Defensive must not expire for at least 6 months from the current date.
5. You must be 25 years of age or older.
6. You must be able to produce originals of all of the required documents on application.
