Mechanical Fitter

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team in mining industry permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 / Matric
Mechanical fitter/trade qualification
4-5 years experience working as a fitter
The ability to use hand power tools
A valid drivers license
Experience working in an industrial environment
Experience working with pumps will be an advantage
Strong fitting ability
Team player
Working off drawings
Mathematics experience
Welding skills
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Physically fit

Repair pumps
Replace boreholes
Replace sewage pumps
Overhaul pumps
Work on irrigation systems
Fabrication
Fault finding
All Ad hoc mechanical fitter related duties.
